The nurse can weigh the baby, provide breastfeeding support, screen for speech concerns and discuss infant care, growth and development and other parental concerns.

Town Park Recreation Centre (62 McCaul St.), 9am-1pm. Free drop-in health screenings for: eye health, foot health, osteporosis, balance, blood pressure, diabetes and nutrition. Cardiovascular risk assessment and wheelchair/walker maintenance clinic also provided. Free medication drop-off station (no sharps please) offered as well. Take-home health inspection report for everyone who attends. Presented by Northumberland Fall Prevention Coalition and Northumberland Diabetes Network.
